- Drawing with lengths, branch dimensions and pin assignment (pin or contact plan)
- Bill of materials with cables, contacts, connectors, seals and protection (with manufacturer part numbers, where these are already defined)
- 3D data of the installation situation, for example to design the cable routing
- Alternatively a sample or a requirements specification
No drawing available? Then sketch the wiring harness in the enquiry form or have it drawn up by our design office.
Quantities and dates
- Quantities for samples, pre-series and series production
- Annual requirement and call-off volumes, as far as they are known
- Target date for samples and for the start of series production
- Packaging and form of delivery
- Material you would like to supply yourself, cables, connectors or devices for example
Environment and requirements
- Place of use and environment: temperature, humidity, oil, chemicals, vibration, movement
- Electrical requirements: currents, voltages, shielding, high voltage
- Sealing of the connectors
- Standards or customer specifications that have to be met
- Marking and labelling
Testing and documentation
- Required scope of testing: continuity and short circuits, high voltage, functional test
- Test records and measurement reports with every delivery
- Initial sample inspection or documentation to PPAP
- Requirements for traceability
