About us

High quality cable assembly. Delivered as a partner.

For many years we have supported companies from mechanical engineering, automation technology, special vehicle construction, electrical engineering and industry with the development, manufacture and assembly of individual cabling solutions.

As an experienced manufacturer of wiring harnesses, cable sets and electromechanical assemblies, we accompany our customers from the technical consultation through prototype manufacturing to series production. The result is cable systems that match the application, the quantity and the budget.

Our customers benefit from short response times, a high degree of flexibility and a partnership based approach throughout the project.

History

From a vision to a systems partner.

What began as a vision in 2006 is today a family run business with international reach. For every connection that counts.

  1. 2006

    The vision becomes reality

Company founder Norbert Warda brings decades of experience in cable assembly and a widely branched supplier network with him. His aim: to implement special requirements quickly, without long development times and without the rigid structures of large corporations. In the year of the foundation the first customer specific cable systems, connectors and adapters for vehicle accessories and automotive applications are produced; in 2007 the first collaborations with well known customers follow.

  2. 2008

    Growth through quality

Around 10,000 wiring harnesses and cable systems per year. In 2009 the first fully automatic Komax cable processing machines follow, along with further crimping machines and semi automatic machines.

  3. 2011

    Soldering, ESD and automated testing

New production lines for soldered connections, ESD standards and a system that automatically records electrical tests for pin assignment, resistance and wiring faults.

  4. 2013

    Our own tools and connectors

Development of our own injection moulding tools and connectors. From 2016 mechanical engineering, special vehicle construction and electrical engineering are added as new industries; today we also work for medical technology, robotics, aerospace, motorsport as well as agricultural and heavy vehicle technology.

  5. 2018

    A new generation and digitalisation

Philip Warda joins the family business. Modern ERP systems and production to Industry 4.0 standards follow. In 2019 an intelligent warehouse system with automated storage locations is added, together with seamless batch and process traceability, from the individual cable to the finished wiring harness.

  6. 2020

    High tech machinery

Ultrasonic splicing systems and fully automatic cable processing machines with crimp force monitoring, seal position control and incision monitoring. In 2021 and 2022 an MES for automated order planning follows.

  7. 2023

    Development and technology partner

Our own CAD design office with EPLAN: development of complete cable systems including prototyping, support during series production and documentation to PPAP.

  8. 2026

    Investment in precision

New in our machinery: the semi automatic Komax Delta 260, the Schäfer SealLine 240-1 ADVANCED and the Schleuniger B340, which extends the stripping technology for sensor cables, single strands and multi core cables. To the investments

  9. 2026

20 years and our own solar power

Powertune turns 20 years old. Since May 2026 the plant has supplied itself with electricity from its own 100 kW photovoltaic system and a 32.4 kWh storage unit. To the review

Sustainability

Our electricity comes from our own system.

Our photovoltaic system with an output of 100 kW supplies the plant in Kitzingen with electricity. Since 20 May 2026 a battery storage unit with 32.4 kWh has stored the surplus. This means we supply 100 per cent of our own electricity all year round.

If the public grid fails, a grid disconnection switch separates the system from the grid, and the photovoltaic system and the storage unit continue to supply the plant. That means additional security of supply for our customers.
