We are looking for someone who is willing to work their way step by step into the technical core of our company and to take on a central role in technical project planning and customer support over the long term.
What this is really about
Every project begins with an idea, a drawing, a sample or a customer enquiry. From this information we create real products that are later used all over the world. Along the way, technical requirements have to be understood, components identified, bills of materials created, prices calculated, designs drawn up, manufacturing documents produced and production processes prepared.
This is exactly where you come in. You see projects through from the first customer enquiry to finished production.
Your area of responsibility
- Technical assessment of customer enquiries and projects
- Analysis of drawings, samples and technical documents
- Identification and selection of suitable components
- Creation and maintenance of bills of materials
- Costing of technical projects
- Preparing quotations and coordinating technical details with customers
- Design of cable systems and wiring harnesses
- Creation of manufacturing documents
- Building up and maintaining technical libraries
- Transfer of technical data into ERP and MES systems
- Support for ongoing projects and technical changes
- Support for production on technical questions
- Contributing to process improvements and standardisation
You work on several projects at the same time and are an important interface between customers, design engineering, production planning, purchasing and production.
